Talking to Myself

Closed eyes reveals myself more than eyes wide open. Adnan Kakazai.

So, I leave it…

While reading
A book
With lots of words
Paragraphs
Chapters

A word
Slipping
Very often
Can’t grasp
Through lines
In between
Paragraphs
From one chapter
To another
No luck

Knowing
Book has
Gravity
Written in
Meticulous detail
Will
Be able
To catch
The word
Sometime

Concentrating
On lines, paragraphs, chapters
Paying full
Thoughtfulness
As
Curiosity
To know
The meaning
The crux
Or
Even if only
Can spell
But all in
Vain

Now
With each
Line finishing
Paragraph completing
And more than
Half chapters
Ended
Somehow
Getting to
Perceive
This
Four letter
Word
Holding it
Is only
Wishful

So
I leave it
As it is
Slippery
Not
Catchable

Fate
The word
Life
The book
Till this
Moment

  1. simply wonderful, this poem. How it captures life is such an interesting metaphor. I love this, hugs, pat
